A Day in the Life of a Caregiver

According to AARP, in the United States, about 40 million people provide unpaid care to an ill or disabled adult. One-quarter of those caregivers have been in their roles for five years or longer. And these loving helpers often go it alone. Only half of family caregivers say they get unpaid help from another family member or friend. AARP The Magazine spent 24 hours filming a day in the life of caregivers across America, documenting their joys and challenges. Read more about their stories and get lots of other great infromation for caregivers at the AARP website.
